Large French mantel clock “Nymphe des Roseaux,” after Moreau, circa 1895–1905. Sculpture in patinated regule bronze depicting a young nymph among the reeds. Signature “Moreau” visible on the sculpture. Original title plaque: “Nymphe des Roseaux – Par Moreau, Sculpt.” Circular founder/publisher mark present. French mechanical movement of origin with strike on a bell. Visible markings: “société Clusienne” and “S.C.A.P.H. Cluses.” Balance wheel present. Striking mechanism functional. Key absent (not recently serviced). Original enamel dial signed by a Lyon retailer, Passage de l’Hôtel-Dieu. Dimensions: about 52 cm in height. Weight: about 6 kg Good overall condition. Normal patina wear related to age. Some chips at the base. Dial well preserved. Complete and very decorative. Art Nouveau / Belle Époque period.
