Figure - Due putti abbracciati - 37 cm - Polychrome wood

Magnificent wooden sculpture, two cherubs embracing. Careful workmanship; an object datable to around the mid-1900s. In my opinion, it has been restored in a painterly manner. The wood is sound, on the back its original chain for hanging. It probably adorned a private chapel. Overall dimensions: 37 x 35 cm.
