Figurine - Geglazuurde olifantenstoel - Earthenware, Enamel

A splendid, characteristic vintage ceramic elephant executed as a decorative stool, plant stand or interior decor option. This striking object is inspired by the classic Chinese Chinoiserie and Sancai styles, recognizable by its beautiful vibrant glaze in deep green, warm brown tones and ochre. The elephant is richly decorated with a detailed saddle and ceremonial drapery. The top plateau is completely flat, making the piece perfect to place a beautiful plant on, or as a unique side table beside the sofa. Thanks to the expressive gaze and the dynamic pose (with the trunk gracefully raised) you bring a true focal point into your home that fits wonderfully within a modern, eclectic, Bohemian or Hollywood Regency interior.
