Figurine - Panterbeeld – Art Deco animalier-stijl...

Atmospheric and characterful decorative sculpture of a prowling panther, designed in the classic animalier tradition best known during the Art Deco period. The panther is depicted in an elegant, elongated movement, with a low head held, a taut body line and a gracefully sweeping tail. The richly textured surface and the dark bronze patination create beautiful nuances as light falls across the sculpture, enhancing the powerful presence of the large big cat. The sculpture is made of dark patinated resin composite with bronze-toned nuances and sits on a black wooden pedestal, giving the whole piece a classic and refined presentation. With a length of about 43 cm, this is a striking decorative object for example on a sideboard, console, bookcase, hallway or display cabinet. owing to the combination of the classic subject and the Art Deco-inspired design, it fits particularly well within both a classical, eclectic as well as hotel-chic interior.
