Filippo P. Castrovinci - Morsu Sapidum

Title: "Morsu Sapidum" Original work by Filippo Pietro Castrovinci, signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. "Morsu Sapidum" is a sculpture in steel that evokes the shape of an apple marked by multiple bites; the metallic material presents a strong and recognizable form, progressively worn by the voids left by the bites. A simple and immediate image that contrasts the solidity of steel with the idea of consumption and transformation. Details: • Material: Corten Steel • Finish: Brushed and natural multicolored tones • Dimensions: H 16 × W 13 × D 13 cm • Limited Edition: Copy No. 12/50 Marble/quartz base: Each base may show variations in color and natural veining, making each sculpture even more unique. Packaging and shipping: Professional packaging with a double-wall box to ensure maximum protection. Tracked shipment via national and international couriers. Artist's note: With Morsu Sapidum I wanted to tell the desire through a universal gesture, to bite, to savor, to appropriate for a moment something that attracts us; the bite breaks the perfection of the form and leaves a trace, transforming the object into experience and memory.
