Fine Earrings with Emeralds, Diamonds & Pearls in Gold From Our Workshop

Music plays, accompanied by light voices, laughter and the rustling of luxurious fabrics. Between the sounds lies the scent of time: fine perfumes, floral notes, a hint of vanilla and jasmine, mixed with the heavy aroma of cigar smoke from the gentlemen's room. Gaslight bathes the room in a warm, golden glow. Not a harsh light, but that soft glow that makes the shine of the gemstones on the ladies' necks and ears melt into a single, sparkling sea of rays. A ball in the late 19th century was a feast for all the senses, with moments in which music, movement and light merged into a display of beauty. The earrings on display here are reminiscent of those magical nights, as their centerpieces made from Brazilian emeralds and diamonds in gold were created at precisely that time, around 1880. A total of around 1.80 carats of diamonds and 1.40 carats of emeralds are used. The bails and pearls were added in our workshop to make the compositions wearable on the ear. Shining in new splendor today, the pair of earrings still transports a piece of that glamorous world that revelled in the glow of the gaslights.
