Book has no discernible faults other than an official Folio Society bookplate affixed to the front end paper. Bound in full green cloth, with an eyecatching design in green and gold. Brown card slipcase beginning to weaken at its intersections. Top textblock edge dyed green. Translated and introduced by Horace Walpole. 256pp, 8vo - 228cms x 149cms. Folio Society number 216. The 16 leaves of plates are reproductions of etchings from the 1793 edition of Walpole's translation , from which the text was also edited The binding is based on a design executed by Samuel Mearne for King Charles ll, now in the British Museum.
