Fish and Reptiles - Fossil teeth - 15 from Mosasaurus

Exhibition panel with 15 fossil finds, arranged on a red background and accompanied by identifying labels. The gold frame, decorated with volutes and vegetal motifs, enhances the whole, combining naturalistic interest with decorative taste. The labels attribute the specimens to various prehistoric fishes and reptiles, with teeth indicated as Odontaspis, Lamna and Corax, an element attributed to Myliobatis and specimens indicated as Mosasaurus. The French tag reports provenance from the phosphate deposits of Khouribga, in Morocco, and an approximate dating of about 45–70 million years. Provenance, identifications and dating are reported according to the present labels and have not been verified by expert appraisal. Overall dimensions: about 25 × 19 cm. The frame shows signs of wear and small abrasions. The specimens show irregularities and missing parts; any restorations or reconstructions have not been ascertained. The photographs form an integral part of the description. Shipping will be handled via the Spedizione Smart service of Catawiki, with Poste Italiane, Bartolini or UPS.
