Fisher-Price - Toy 923 Play Family School + 997 Play Family Village - 1970-1980

2 complete Fisher Price playsets: Supercool very rare mall/playset from Fisher Price. No. 997 Play Family Village, from 1973. Ages 2-8. Played with, but in rare, nearly complete and very good condition! Everything present (1 spare item) and working, such as the turn alarm and the traffic light. Note, 1 original item is missing: unfortunately the green sports car is missing, and has been replaced by a regular green car, so in that sense complete. The paper on the outside and interior of the shops is in very good condition, nowhere discolored, chipped, or worn. The original box (46 x 33 x 23 cm) is also included, also in good condition considering its age. On other sales sites this set is difficult or almost impossible to find; often one or more parts and/or the box are missing, or there are very different parts included that do not belong, but are sold as such. For the observant buyer: the photo shows only 3 letters, but there are 6 as it should be! With this set you can be sure you are buying a nice and nearly complete specimen! and Supercool rare vintage school playset from Fisher Price. No. 923 Play Family School, originally the school building from 1971 (!) This variant of contents/accessories is from 1976/1977. Ages 3-6. With masonite hardboard base. The roof can open and there are 2 drawers with the alphabet and another 22 digits and letters (18 original). These are magnetic and can be stuck to the roof to form words and sums. The bell on the roof works well, and the handle is intact. Played with, but in good condition for its age of over 50 years! Has few signs of use on the paper, mainly on the inside still in very good condition. We have some light signs of use on the outside in general and slight discolorations consistent with age, and may need a wipe for the fabric. Note / particulars: The crayons are missing, which is expected from use. The eraser doesn’t really work anymore I think, the foam of the eraser is fragile. And unfortunately the original teacher’s chair is missing. But another suitable chair is included in its place, see photos. Extras: 4 extra letters/numbers, see photo. These are not original to the set, but may be included. The original box (32 x 31 x 26 cm) is also included, also in good condition given its age. Not discolored, with a nice picture plate on it. On other sales sites this set is sometimes found, but often several parts are missing (such as different letters or spare letters), or there are parts included that do not belong but are sold as such. With this set you can be sure you are buying a nice and nearly complete specimen! (Check the photos carefully from photo 2 for the contents of this lot. Photo 1 is an overview photo created by AI to get the 2 sets to look good together in the photo. There may be an error in it.)
