Flavia Delgado - WHISKY BANTER XL

WHISKY BANTER is a 70 x 100 cm painting by Flavia Delgado inspired by the classic western universe, old American saloons and the dynamic energy of retro action comics. The work depicts two cowboys facing off in a chaotic and theatrical scene around a barrel of whiskey, while cards and bottles fly through the air. The composition conveys movement, tension and humor, evoking the legendary tavern brawls of the imaginary old west. Flavia Delgado blends influences of pop art, vintage poster art, and American pulp aesthetics through bold black outlines, dramatic perspectives and very strong color contrasts that provide narrative force to the scene. The color palette, dominated by vibrant reds, warm yellows, dark greens and deep blacks, creates an explosive and cinematic atmosphere that recalls old western movie posters and the covers of classic comics. WHISKY BANTER celebrates the irreverent spirit of the American West with a contemporary and graphic gaze, becoming an ideal piece for interiors with personality, private bars, creative spaces or collections inspired by the western and retro universe.
