Rare Natural Blue Afghanite Rough Lot – 34 g, 88 Pieces – Badakhshan, Afghanistan A beautiful lot of natural blue Afghanite rough gemstones from the mines of Badakhshan, Afghanistan, comprising 88 individual pieces with a total weight of 34 grams. Afghanite is a rare mineral, and this lot offers an attractive selection of rough stones with natural blue colour, appealing lustre, and varying degrees of transparency. The lot contains a mixture of transparent and translucent pieces, offering possibilities for both faceted gemstones and cabochons. The smaller, more transparent pieces are suitable for cutting jewellery-sized faceted stones, while the larger pieces, which contain natural inclusions, may be suitable for cabochons and statement jewellery, including men's rings. One of the most interesting features of this collection is its fluorescence under UV light.
