Origin: Balochistan Province, Pakistan. A RARE specimen and very difficult to find of pink-black Pakistani fluorite. Fluorite owes its color to environmental impurities present in the region, and black fluorite is one of the colors hardest to find. This magnificent specimen emits red fluorescence and is stunning under UV black light. We use a 30 W UV LED flashlight at 365 nm to unleash the intense red color that characterizes the hidden beauty of this mineral. If we use a 395 nm UV flashlight the effect will tend toward pink.
