Fornace Schiavon Padova - Ceramica Classica Italiana...

Extraordinary hand-signed glazed ceramic collection vase by the renowned Italian ceramic master Elio Schiavon (Padua / Abano Terme, 1960s/1970s). A magnificent example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design, where the artisanal mastery of the Veneto tradition meets the modernist and abstract language. The piece stands out for a strong sculptural, plastic presence. Design and Decoration: The vase features a characteristic bottle-like structure with a squared, flattened profile. The surface adopts a refined ivory-glazed base, on whose front a large, highly stylized floral and vegetal motif stands out. The details are enhanced by the typical graffito technique with polychrome glazes in warm tones of mustard yellow, ocher, and brown, with hand-engraved outlines that give the drawing three-dimensionality and graphic vigor. Signature and Marks: Bears the autograph signature beneath the base. Conditions: Excellent vintage conservation condition, colors vibrant and glaze intact (please refer to the photo gallery for details). Dimensions: Shipping: The lot will be packed with the utmost care using professional anti-shock materials and shipped via trackable insured courier to ensure total protection. The AI-generated photos are intended to give the client an idea of the object's placement.
