All of our fossils are shipped with a certificate, included with the piece at no extra charge. Scientific name: Coprolite (possible reptile: crocodile, turtle or fish) Location: Madagascar Stage: Mesozoic (age undetermined) Size: Approximately 5.6 cm Fossil description: Spectacular, high-quality, highly detailed fossil coprolite from Madagascar. It preserves a very good color and the natural striations typical of fossilized feces, which provides exceptional detail and a very pronounced texture. Based on its morphology and internal structure, it could correspond to a reptile such as a crocodile or turtle, or even to a large fish, all common in the region’s Mesozoic ecosystems. Well-preserved coprolites from Madagascar are highly valued for their aesthetics, rarity, and excellent preservation. Restoration: Natural piece; no restorations. Ref: 4921
