Fossil plant with exceptional preservation!! - Horsetail...

Spectacular fossil plant from the horsetails. The preparation of the specimen was very labor-intensive, preserving the finest details of the plant. Dimensions (Asterophyllites): 115 x 20 mm Asterophyllites equisetiformis has a cylindrical stem, with a variable number of whorls that appear increasingly closer together as you approach the apex of the stem. Each whorl has lanceolate leaves, with a conspicuous central vein, 10-25 mm long, slightly wider than the stem, and attached somewhat obliquely, with the bases fused, forming a nodal area of elliptical contour. Plastic stand included.
