Fountain (2) - 1990-2000

Detailed Description of the Fountain It is an imposing and scenographic indoor water fountain, crafted in Italian art ceramic, featuring a full-round sculptural work and a design inspired by exotic nature. 1. Upper Part (The Sculpted Basin): Sculptures: At the top of the fountain are two finely detailed tiger figures. A larger tiger rests along the front edge of the basin, while a second tiger (smaller or a cub) climbs the rear rocky wall. The glossy finish highlights the orange coat with the characteristic black stripes shaded in. The rocky wall and the waterfall: The basin background simulates a gray, jagged rock wall with blue-green veins and shading. At the top there is the golden nozzle from which water flows, designed to run along the rock before collecting in the lower basin. The Water Basin: The main basin is shaped like a large aquatic leaf or a grotto, painted inside and out with green plant tones and yellow details on the pleated edges. The bottom displays a decoration reminiscent of rippled water and pebbles. 2. The Base (Support Column): The lower shaft acting as a supporting column repeats the basin's vegetal motif. It features smooth and twisted lines that simulate large reed or water lily leaves extending upward. The color palette of the base plays on a strong contrast between emerald green and bright yellow, finished with an ultra-gloss glaze that creates light reflections on the structure. 3. Mechanism and Operation: Rear Access: The back of the basin presents a hidden cavity carved inside the ceramic sculpture. Recirculation Pump: Inside the compartment sits the electric pump (included), equipped with a transparent silicone hose that connects directly to the upper outlet hole. Ease of use: Does not require connections to a water supply: simply fill the basin with water, place the pump submerged, and plug the cord into a power outlet to activate continuous circulation. 4.
