Four Chinese bronze mirrors, Song dynasty or later, each reverse cast in relief with scrolls or archaistic creatures, largest 9cm Provenance - Ray Nestor (1888-1989), a British artist, farmer, and early conservationist. In 1950, Nestor and his wife Dorothy left Kenya and retired to Crowborough, Sussex, where he became a keen collector of Chinese and Japanese art.
