Four-handled "Cizhou" vase, China, Jin dynasty (1115-1234)

Descriptio “Cizhou” four-handled vase in turned stoneware with a cream-colored glaze and a dark brown glaze. The ovoid body is decorated with fine horizontal fluting and has an everted neck with four ribbon handles applied to the shoulder. A beautiful chromatic contrast exists between the ivory glaze and the dark glaze. China, Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). Height: 24 cm. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU).
