Including one cuff bracelet of double bands centering on an oval cabochon green turquoise within shell and bead border, one cuff bracelet of double bands centering on a round cabochon blue turquoise within a rope twist frame, one Native American Navajo cuff accented by blue turquoise and carnelian inlay, and one pair of leaf form earrings accented by an oval cabochon Mother-of-Pearl. Inlaid cuff stamped 'R.H. Boyd STERLING'. Earrings stamped 'L.& R.S. Sterling'. Approximate dimensions: Inner diameters: 2 1/4 in. 1 3/4 in., and 2 1/4 in., Length earrings: 2 in., Width earrings: 3/4 in.,22.63 grams total overall weight. Provenance: From the Gaston Collection, acquired through generational transfer from the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays (1881-1951), wife of Senator James E. Hays; the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays Gaston and Dr. Joseph H. Gaston III; and the Estate of Dr. J. Harper Gaston and Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hendrick Gaston. The multi-generational collection was housed at two notable Georgia homes�Twin Oaks (a National Register Greek Revival estate in Greenville, Georgia and Rhodes Hall (the �castle on Peachtree Street� that functioned a Georgia State Archives from 1930-1965).
