Fr. 2201-A. 1934 Dark Green Seal $500 Federal Reserve Note. Boston. PCGS Banknote Choice Uncirculated 64 PPQ. Tantalizingly close to the Gem Uncirculated grade level. This $500 Federal Reserve Note from the Boston district issued under the Series of 1934 offers a sight unmatched by the vast majority of survivors known for the denomination regardless of the issuing district. Here one may behold sharp margins and crisp corners that enclose a veritable cornucopia of engraved and overprinted detail emphasized by both the stately portrait of William McKinley and the contrast demonstrated by the coloration of the Treasury overprint. Held together with distinct embossing demonstrated by the overprinted design and it takes absolutely nothing to see that this is truly a premium example of this ever-popular type and denomination. Estimate: $4,000 - $6,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.

Estimate:£1,798.35
