Fr. 2202-B. 1934A $500 Federal Reserve Note. Mule. New York. PCGS Banknote About Uncirculated 55 PPQ. Here is not merely another example of this alluring denomination that has not been produced since 1945. Instead, bidders have here for their consideration a relative outlier in both visual and technical terms. Assigned a numerical grade of "55" by PCGS Banknote with the added benefit of the PPQ designation for "Premium Paper Quality," it takes only a simplistic understanding of grading standards to figure that this example is a premium example that avoided a prolonged stint in commercial channels. To that end, should you seek an original example of this denomination without paying a premium price, bidders are advised that this lot is one not to be missed. Estimate: $2,500 - $3,500.
