Fr. 2212-Gm. 1934A $1000 Federal Reserve Note. Mule. Chicago. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58. A crisp example of an ever-popular denomination among collectors. This $1000 Federal Reserve Note issued under the Series of 1934A accounts for a particularly pleasing sight. The paper body remains plainly original while faint evidence of technical circulation consistent with the grade assigned is easy to both observe and understand. The colors endemic to the Treasury seal are bold and account for an excellent contrast against the engraved elements of the design including the portrait of President Grover Cleveland which does well to demonstrate a bevy of fine details even down to the walrus-like hairs of his mustache. In all, this is undoubtedly a fine example of the denomination and will certainly please whomever may be fortunate enough to add it to their own collection at the end of the bidding process. Estimate: $5,000 - $6,000. Click here for certification details from PMG.
