Here the engraved signatures of Parker and Burke can be encountered alongside the familiar embellishments of the design dubbed the "Tombstone" alongside the distinctive denim-blue Treasury overprint favored by the short-lived Series of 1908 which stands as arguably the most eye-catching trait of this specimen. Rich denim-blue shades beckon here against the engraved balance with distinct pomp effortlessly enlivening the portrait of Vice President Thomas A. Hendricks (1819-1885) whose portrait is enclosed within a tombstone-shaped portrait.
