Frame - Gold leaf

Splendid, large and ancient box-frame carved in wood, finely hand-carved and veneered with gold leaf. It features refined and complex foliate scroll motifs from rich floral decorations with fruits and garlands. Refined artisanal craftsmanship of the 19th century of great quality and Italian elegance. Some slight and normal signs of time visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good condition.
