Frame - Wood

Elegant Italian frame from the early 1900s, characterized by a double decorative foliate band. The relief alternates with more expansive gilded surfaces, creating a pleasant play of light and shadow along the entire perimeter. The wooden construction with preparation and, where present, plaster ornaments is documented by photographs of the front and details. Frame offered empty; the frame can be matched with a work compatible with its opening. Era: Early 20th century. Origin: Italy. Materials: wood and plaster, gilded finish. External dimensions: about 50 × 60 cm, height × width. Internal opening: about 40 × 50 cm, height × width. Sold empty, without painting, glass, or mirror. Good overall condition, with patina, small abrasions and signs of finish wear visible in the details. The back preserves marks from previous mounting and superficial wear. Dedicated protective packaging, with particular attention to edges and corners.
