Collection of 7 post-historical pieces from France with Cérès-type stamps. The lot consists of a complete letter, a postcard, and several letter fragments. Various values are represented, including 10, 15, and 25 centimes. Notably, a letter fragment with a pair of 10-centime Cérès stamps. Another letter fragment bears two separate 10-centime Cérès stamps placed next to each other. Additionally, there are several Gros Chiffres numeral cancel stamps and round date stamps. An interesting set for the study of postage rates, cancellations, and French postal history from the Cérès period. The pieces and stamps have not been systematically checked for varieties, color nuances, or other postal peculiarities.
