It is part of the collection « France by Jean Paul Gaultier », designed by the creator with the Mint’s engravers. Face value: €50 Metal: silver 900‰ (about 37 g of pure silver) Weight: 41 g, diameter: 41 mm Edition: 50,000 copies Quality: uncirculated (BU) Obverse: a cock and a hen dancing under the Eiffel Tower for the July 14th ball, with fireworks and dancers in the background, and the inscription « France by Jean Paul Gaultier » Reverse: “RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE”, “EURO 50” between two branches of laurel and oak, three hexagons, year 2017 Condition: uncirculated coin, with a few micro-scratches and a slight oxidation patina near the edge of the obverse, visible in the photos. The reverse is clean and shiny. The engraving details remain sharp. Included with: the original round white marinière-striped case, with Monnaie de Paris logo. No sleeve or separate certificate.
