FRANCE, Bucolique [Bucolic], 1904, an Art Nouveau bronze award plaque by P.-C. Lenoir, naked boy seated under tree playing a flute, sheep, goats and a dog around, rev. agricultural implements, engraved in field (4 Février 1944), edge impressed metal-d and cornucopia, 60 x 46mm, 80.43g (Maier 277; PBE 543; CGMP pp.242-3; ANS Exh. Cat. 1910, p.190, 5; BDM III, 393; cf. Höhn 101, 401; cf. DNW 188, 821). About extremely fine; in original maroon fitted case of issue £40-£60.
