FRANCE, Chambre de Commerce de Perpignan et des Pyrénées-Orientales, 1927, an Art Déco silver award medal by R.-R.-A. Bénard, Mercury seated holding a sailing ship in one hand, bunches of grapes and fruit on either side, city behind, rev. kneeling naked figure of a young woman squeezing grapes into a cup held aloft by a young boy, foothills of the Pyrénées in distance, un-named, edge impressed 2 argent and cornucopia, 41mm, 36.17g (Maier 288; cf. Künker e356, 8369; cf. Baldwin 101, 3821; cf. DNW M7, 2628). Very fine £30-£40.
