FRANCE, Cinquantenaire de la Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de Paris, à Lyon et la Méditerranée [50th Anniversary of the Paris, Lyon and Mediterranean Railway Company], 1907, a silver plaque by F.-C.-V. de Vernon, train steaming past a level-crossing, coach and horses waiting at left, rev. allegorical robed female stepping down from the footplate of a locomotive, three figures with trolley of flowers waiting to greet her, edge impressed 1 argent and cornucopia, 60 x 45mm, 61.49g (Maier 170; PBE 982; Moyaux Suppl. 271; cf. CGB Jan. 2021, 722; cf. iNumis MBS 46, 908; cf. DNW 64, 1357). Very fine and toned £100-£150.
