Napoléon seated to right on curule chair, holding eagle-tipped sceptre, receiving turret-crowned figure of Paris who stands before him, radiant star emblazoned n above, ship helmed by Cupid at right, 68mm, 145.16g (Bramsen 358; Zeitz 43; Alexander 49; CGMP p.53; BDM III, 73; Slg. Julius 1296; cf. Hamburg 111, 725; cf. CNG e598, 931; cf. Elsen 152, 2129). Some surface and rim marks, otherwise very fine £60-£80.
