5 Francs Napoléon III – 1868 A – Paris French silver 5-franc coin, minted in 1868 under the Second Empire, featuring Napoleon III with a laurel head. Obverse: portrait of Napoleon III facing left, wearing a laurel crown. Inscription "NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR". Signature BARRE beneath the portrait. Reverse: the French imperial coat of arms crowned, surrounded by the Legion of Honour necklace, with a scepter and hand of justice crossed. Inscription "EMPIRE FRANÇAIS", denomination 5 F and year 1868.
