FRANCE, Première traversée aérienne française de l'Atlantique Nord d'ouest en est [First French Aerial Crossing of the North Atlantic from West to East], a bronze medal by Anie Mouroux, conjoined busts of Jean Assollant, René Lefèvre and Armand Lotti to right, rev. aircraft in clouds above a map of the globe showing the route from the USA to Spain, edge impressed bronze and cornucopia, 68mm, 172.89g (CGMP p.283; cf. SJA 112, 1235; cf. Áureo & Calicó 395, 399; cf. DNW 53, 1197). Extremely fine; in original maroon fitted case of issue £100-£150.
