All auctions / Contemporary Art / Francioni Mastromarino (1978) - Coppia di sculture blu da parete Matrilineare
“Blue Matrilinear Couple – The New Era of the Matriarchy” Shipping included and authenticity certificate signed by the artists. This wall pair from the series “Matrilineare – Venus on Aluminum” is signed by Francioni Mastromarino, a duo of artists active for over twenty years in Pietrasanta (Tuscany). Two original works, paired in a single exceptional offering: direct purchase from the authors, without intermediaries. A work that is a gesture of support for a social and conscious vision, celebrating female power and the matriarchy. “The New Era of the Matriarchy,” this diptych powerfully and poetically tells the condition of women in modern society. The stylized vulva detail with a silver-colored leaf, set among the hair, becomes a symbol of fertility, vital energy, and the desire for redemption. The incised line in the paint represents maternal continuity: a homage to female genealogy and to women who, while dreaming big, still encounter invisible barriers. Uniqueness, versatility, and material value Original works, molded and hand-forged: each piece is unique in its shades and pigments. Aluminum support painted, resilient even in outdoor environments. Integrated hook for simple and safe installation. The red monochrome heads convey passion and visual strength. Can be displayed together or separately. These are not replicas or industrial productions: each sculpture arises from a complex artisanal process that combines sculptural technique and symbolic research. Sustainable and conscious art Francioni & Mastromarino incorporate recycled materials into their production, such as rice hulls, reducing environmental impact without sacrificing quality and material beauty. Eco-friendly shipping in natural packaging (cardboard, paper, and wood shavings). Certificate of authenticity signed by the artists included. For shipments outside the EU: certificate of free export from the Soprintendenza Belle Arti of Florence. LUCID registration for Germany in conformity with European environmental regulations. A masterpiece of contemporary femininity, directly from the artists. Photos may differ in tone; the heads of this lot are blue monchromatic matrilinears I and II in black, and not two-tone as shown in the photo.
