With case (not original) superb and very ancient sugar tongs with openwork decoration, entirely in solid silver 950/1000, hallmark Vieillard 1st title 1819-1838, Paris guarantee mark, census mark used from 1835 to 1838, and silversmith François Pamphile Jozan, Parisian silversmith from 1836 to 1847, Louis-Philippe era, first half of the 19th century. Considering the age of this object, excellent overall condition with some signs of wear. Dimensions approx. 15.5 cm in length, weight without case 36 grams. Careful shipping Sold without reserve!
