Generally good condition with fresh interior. Volume IV only illustrated with 11 plates including 1 folding plate engraved by Sellier, vignette on title page in the original edition. This monumental dictionary gathers all the knowledge of the era on land management, crops, livestock, the management of estates, and veterinary care. Great scholars such as Antoine Parmentier or Chaptal contributed. The original edition began to appear in 1781 with the publisher Serpente. The complete collection comprises 12 volumes.
