Commemorative Tankard "Victory over the Armada" – David Cornell – Franklin Mint – 1988 Magnificent pewter tankard created in 1988 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the English fleet's victory over the Spanish Armada in 1588. Made after a design by sculptor David Cornell, member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, this piece was issued by Le Médaillier Franklin under licence from the National Maritime Museum of London.
