Franse Japonisme Tafelspiegel - In de stijl van Gabriel...

A richly decorated oval standing mirror from the 19th century, made of walnut wood and adorned with floral motifs. The mirror is crowned with a cherub and supported by a mythological creature, such as a chimera or dragon. This kind of carving is typical of the style of Gabriel Viardot. Although some parts are missing, we believe this, in our view, actually adds to the charm of the piece. The mirror also has a beautiful overall patina. We recommend you view the photos carefully, so you can fully appreciate the condition and the distinctive variety of this beautiful object. You can also use the zoom function in the photos, so you can inspect the object thoroughly as you wish. Questions? ..auctioneer) The item will be very well packed for shipping.
