Fratelli Perdomello (F.P.) - Sculpture

Let yourself be enchanted by the freshness and expressiveness of this magnificent figurative sculpture in fine porcelain, entirely molded and hand-painted by a historic Italian artistic manufactory from the mid-20th century. The piece vividly depicts a young shepherd boy in traditional clothes with a feathered hat, holding on a string a lively little goat that holds a flower in its mouth. On the base of the object is the original hand-painted mark with the initials "F.P.", flanked by two stars and the inscription "ITALY". This historic Venetian manufactory (active in the Nove and Bassano del Grappa district) distinguishes Italian post-war artworks inspired by the famous Capodimonte porcelain models and by the well-known German-area figures such as Meissen and Goebel-Hummel. The attention to detail is impeccable: from the expressive look of the boy to the colored feathers on the hat, down to the finest naturalistic details and the delicate modeling of the animal. Every shade of color is applied with a brush, giving the object an unmatched soul and uniqueness. The scene’s dynamism and the glossy porcelain finish make it a perfect focal point for shop windows, antique display cabinets, or prestigious interiors. Produced between the 1950s and 1960s, it is in good preservation condition, showing signs of age in keeping with its era that underscore its antiquity. See the photos in the gallery, which are an integral part of the description. An unmissable opportunity for lovers of fine porcelain art and Made in Italy collecting.
