Artist information: Originating from southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU draws inspiration from Breton landscapes, deeply anchored in light and the horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature engages in dialogue with human perception. Cast shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a controlled palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The eye is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language. The current Akoun valuation of Frédéric Cadiou is €1350 for a 15P format (65x50 cm). In 2026, Frédéric Cadiou is selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, Europe’s largest innovation fair, in Paris. Next exhibition: see the artist’s website.
