Front, Coat Rack Bench, Gebrüder Thonet, 2015

The Coat Rack Bench is a very unique piece of multiple-use furniture for the hallway. Designed by the Swedish design group Front in 2015 for the classical Austrian manufacturer Gebrüder Thonet, who almost has been in business for 200 years and is a staple in the furniture industry and have a vast array of design classics under their name. This piece of furniture is exactly what the name suggests. It's a coat rack attached to a bench. Very practical for the hallway with both a bench when you put on your shoes, and a coat rack to hang your clothes on. Made of a white painted bent wood (which Thonet is famous for) frame with a rattan seat. This example was produced within the last two years and has only been a shop window example from a retail store so it is basically in a new condition with minimal signs of use.
