Centerpiece / Fruit bowl in crystal and silver plate – Italy, first half of the 20th century Elegant centerpiece on a foot produced in the first half of the century, characterized by a refined brimming cup in molded crystal with rich geometric decoration and a valuable silver plate mount finely worked. The crystal, adorned with a faceted pattern that captures and magnificently reflects light, is enhanced by a delicate perforated band in silvered metal that underscores its elegance. The base, with classic lines and richly decorated with floral motifs and grooves, gives the whole piece balance, prestige, and a strong stage presence. This object represents a perfect example of Italian taste in the first half of the 20th century, when the quality of materials and the care in finishing were essential elements in the creation of items destined for the most elegant tables. Ideal as a centerpiece, fruit holder, or refined decorative element, it easily fits both classic environments and contemporary contexts, where it becomes a true focal point thanks to the brightness of the crystal and the refined patina of the silvered metal. Dimensions * Height: 16 cm * Diameter: 21 cm Conditions The object presents itself in excellent overall condition, with slight signs of time consistent with its age. The crystal is intact, free from chips or cracks, while the silver plate mount preserves a pleasant patina that testifies to its authenticity and vintage charm. The photographs constitute an integral part of the description and allow appreciation of its state of conservation and build quality. The item will be carefully packed with professional materials to ensure maximum protection during transport and shipped with trackable shipping across Europe.
