Gaby Acevedo - Édafos - Mundo Onírico (XL)

“Édafos” is an artwork from my series "Dream World" (Mundo Onírico), an imagined territory that does not belong to any known map but is constructed through plans and layers that suggest its own geography. The piece presents an abstract space where forms relate to delineate a region open to multiple interpretations, like a fragment of a dream map. In “Édafos,” the territory is revealed by zones and structures that invite you to explore it, becoming part of this world that exists only within the painting. Details of the work: • "Édafos - Dream World" is a contemporary abstract work, unique and original, carried out entirely by hand with professional acrylic on cotton canvas. • Dimensions: 100 cm × 100 cm. • Created directly in my studio. • Canvas size: The canvas measures approximately 110 cm × 110 cm, including the margin needed for its mounting on a 100 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm frame (approximately). • Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves the intensity of the colors and ensures its conservation over time. • Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the back by the visual artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Presentation: • The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high‑strength rigid tube. The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas retains the margin necessary for mounting on a frame. • The work does not include a frame or decorative border. • For an optimal finish, it is recommended that the mounting be carried out by a professional. Shipping: • The work is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube. • Insured shipping with tracking number. • Includes certificate of authenticity. • Shipments to the Canary Islands (Spain): €48. • Additional information: Colors and shades may vary slightly depending on each screen’s settings. Ambient images are digital representations for illustrative purposes and show a possible presentation of the work once mounted or framed. About the artist: My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter, and collage are the pillars of my visual language. My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit, and the traces they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a different investigation, but all share the aim of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation. Each work is unique and is made entirely by hand in my studio with high‑quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity."
