Games table - Wood, Textile - game table

VINTAGE FOLDING GAME TABLE – CARD TABLE Particular vintage folding game table, featuring a dark wooden structure, square playing surface covered in green fabric/felt and an original folding mechanism. The table has a simple yet highly interesting functional design: the square top is supported by four folding legs with original metal reinforcement elements. The underside clearly shows the original opening and closing mechanism, allowing the table to be folded when not in use. The green playing surface shows natural signs of age and use, including light marks, discoloration and small imperfections. The wooden structure has developed an attractive vintage patina, with scratches, abrasions, wear and losses to the original finish. The original paintwork is quite worn and, for someone wishing to give the piece a more refined appearance, the table could benefit from restoration and repainting. Nevertheless, its current condition gives it an authentic vintage character. Period: 20th century, exact period to be further determined Style: Vintage / rustic / traditional game table Materials: Wood, metal and textile covering Use: Game table, card table, bridge or board games Measurements: approximately 80 × 80 cm, height 75 cm Condition Vintage condition consistent with age and previous use. The table shows scratches, abrasions, signs of age, worn paint, discoloration and imperfections to the fabric playing surface. The original folding mechanism is preserved. Please carefully examine all photographs, which form an integral part of the description. A distinctive piece suitable for collectors of vintage game tables, antique furniture and traditional interiors, or as an original addition to a home, hobby room or games room. ⸻ ENGLISH DESCRIPTION VINTAGE FOLDING GAME TABLE – CARD TABLE Particular vintage folding game table, featuring a dark wooden structure, square playing surface covered in green fabric/felt and an original folding mechanism.
