Ca. 200 BC - AD 200. A schist relief panel with a naked couple within a recessed rectangular frame. The male figure at left has a bearded face and curled hair, with his right arm extending across his companion. At right, the female figure is depicted with rounded breasts, a narrow waist, and crossed legs, her head turned slightly to the side and her hair arranged beneath a fillet. Vegetal motifs frame the panel along the sides and upper edge. The back is flat and plain. Size: 145mm x 90mm; Weight: 500g Provenance: From a private UK collection; earlier purchased on the London art market in the 1980s.
