The photograph was taken around 1970 by Garry Winogrand, immense American realist photographer, spiritual heir to Walker Evans. Winogrand is the photographer who built the foundations of contemporary Street Photography, starting in the 1960s. Paving the way for an entire generation of photographers. Black-and-white prepress print on satin RC paper. Medium resolution, archive digital print. Later print. Format: 19.8 x 29.5 cm, with margins. Labels and annotations on the verso.
