A large-format quarto volume, soft covers with original glossy dust jacket, richly illustrated by Dubout in color. First cover printed in black and red, featuring a colored drawing of a moustached soldier signed Dubout. Backstrip bearing the author's name, the title in red, a small colored drawing of a hussar/cavalier, and the publisher's name. Fine quality paper in large format quarto, with careful printing of rich color illustrations. Very good overall condition. Interior very fresh, clean and free of foxing, with vibrant colors. The cover is complete and clean, with a light natural yellowing / patina due to age. The spine shows a slight crease/chip at the top edge and a small flattening / rubbing at the lower edge. Title, author and publisher printed in gray/black on the first cover and on the spine. Cover complete and clean, showing natural uniform yellowing due to age. Slight handling crease on the upper right corner of the first cover. Spine well preserved, with light creases of use and a very light bump/rubbing at the lower edge. Cover well preserved with a uniform patina of time, a small handling crease at the corner of the cover and light rubbing at the spine tips. 162 pages 3/ DORGELÈS (Roland) — Le Cabaret de la Belle Femme. Illustrations by Edmond Ladoucette. Volume in-4, paperback with original slipcase and dust jacket. One of the copies on Johannot pure cotton calf parchment, numbered No. 3048. Illustrated with original compositions by Edmond Ladoucette. Good copy. Interior very fresh. Paperback volume in a slipcase with a rigid original slipcase. Plain softcover with the title and author printed in the center. The slipcase and the cover display a fine vintage patina with natural yellowing/shadowing of the paper due to time. Edition adorned with superb color illustrations by Dignimont. One of 1,000 copies on grand vélin filigrané Renage (completed printing on October 10, 1946). Very good copy, complete with both volumes in their original slipcase. Interiors very fresh.
