GERMANY. Prussia. Berlin. 2 Mark. 1901. Wilhelm II (1888–1918) - Value: 2 Mark. - Year: 1901. - Inscriptions: FRIEDRICH I. 1701 with the busts superimposed of Frederick I and William II and commemorative legend of the bicentennial; on the reverse, DEUTSCHES REICH 1901 with the imperial eagle and the value 2 MARK. - Grade: MS61 (NGC). Prussian commemorative coin issued to celebrate the bicentennial of the proclamation of the Kingdom of Prussia (1701–1901). The obverse shows a powerful double portrait, with Frederick I — the first king of Prussia — and Emperor William II, symbolizing dynastic continuity and the power of the Prussian state within the German Empire. The reverse features the German imperial eagle with crown and central shield, finely detailed and with a strong heraldic presence. The specimen preserves original luster with attractive uniform patina and well-defined reliefs, in keeping with the MS61 grade, making it a very representative and sought-after piece among the early 20th-century German Imperial commemoratives. Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
