Gilbert & Barker Model 296 Gas Pump in White Rose

Made in Canada. 1938. Introduced in the late 1930s and manufactured into the 1940s, the Gilbarco Model 96 (including its variants like the 96C) is one of the most recognizable "tall" computing pumps ever built. It represents the height of Art Deco influence on industrial petroleum equipment, transitioning away from older "visible" glass-cylinder pumps into modern, fully enclosed mechanical computing cabinets. Stamped on data plate. All items are guaranteed authentic by Miller & Miller Auctions. All purchases are eligible for free delivery to the Winter 2026 Dixie Gas Show on December 4th. From the Barry Yorgason Collection.
