Gino Tassinari (1920-2001) - Campagna

Fascinating oil painting on faesite by the Livorno-born painter Gino Tassinari, a respected exponent of the Labronica painting, faithful to the tradition of truth and to the rich chromatic palette of the Tuscan landscape. The work depicts an evocative rural landscape brought to life: a view of a road or alley framed by tall textured walls and leafy trees in the background. At the center of the scene stand stylized human figures in motion, which lend movement and depth to the composition. The painting is distinguished by the artist's characteristic thick, substantial color application, with a warm palette contrasted by a sky in plum tones that are evocative. The work is presented within an imposing period gilded frame, enriched by an elegant beige fabric mat that enhances and brings out the painting’s chromatic tones. The painting is sold with its frame.
